The IGDTUW IEEE Student Branch is one of the most active student branches under the Delhi Section, Region 10 (Asia Pacific). Established in 2004, the IGDTUW IEEE SB has progressed under the able mentorship of Branch Counselor Prof. S. B. Jain.

Under the IEEE activities, a number of weekly events have been conducted all around the year, like Technical Crosswords, Vocabulary, Techno-Pictionary, Hardware design quiz, to mention a few. The membership of the college has almost doubled with almost 120 new members every year making it the second college under the Delhi Section in terms of Student Members.

"The annual IEEE technical festival “IMPULSE” is conducted every year. The event was a huge success with massive participation from colleges from Delhi and outside.”

The Robotics event – “ROBO SOCCER”, in, an extremely popular event with number of teams participating from across India.
